{My Belly}

I have been wanting to have photos of my belly taken for weeks now… But somehow got busy with my little routine, and was putting it on the back burner. Of course hiring a professional photographer crossed my mind more than once, but I never got around to it. So here we are, about to give birth ANY DAY now… and taking a few photos to have some memory of this beautiful… time. This pregnancy as had it’s up and downs. Health wise, not always too good, and sometimes a little emotional. I gained a total of 18-lbs… yes I know… it’s not a lot. But for me, it is. I am built with a small frame, and adding that much weight ALL in my belly has been a little difficult at times. Let’s just say that every time my son kicks me, he does it in my ribs My energy levels went way down… going to work, going to school at night, and taking care of my family, has made me extremely tired at times. Diagnosed with severe anemia, surely didn’t help either. BUT with all that being said, it’s all for a good cause. We were ECSTATIC when we found out that we were having a little boy. So happy, and so nervous at the same time. ”I don’t know what to do with a boy…” is what I was thinking… but now I am more than ready. The room is ready, our hearts are ready, our family is READY!!! We cannot wait to meet him. We are impatiently waiting for his arrival. We are hoping that tonight will be the night!!!!

So here I am leaving you with a few photos of Kyler and I… (photos taken by my husband who did great)

P.S. We meant to get up early and take these photos, as the lighting is perfect early in the morning… but one thing led to another, and we ended up out and about at the location at NOON. Yes… not so good for photography. But we made the best of it. I hope you enjoy!

This photo below had everything wrong with it… exposure, clarity, white balance… But I thought it was so cute… So I tried to fix it to the best of my abilities. Didn’t turn out too bad after all

This morning, my hubby and I went to this little hole in the wall to have some delicious burritos. I saw the gorgeous yellow walls while walking in, and decided it would be the perfect background to take a few shots of my 6-months belly. I’ve had a lot of friends and family back home, e-mailing me, asking to see the famous belly. So here you go… me, 6-months pregnant. {Chantal, Valerie & Denis… this is for you}!

Also… Let’s talk about Style and Fashion for minute. During this pregnancy I’ve had so many people come up to me to say something about my ‘prego’ style. Some hate it, some LOVE it. Although the comments are not always positive, I’d like to take this opportunity to say that carrying a baby for 9-months is a beautiful thing. Your body changes daily, and sometimes it is hard to get used to the changes. You don’t always feel or look your best. SO… wearing stylish, sexy, beautiful clothes is sometimes the only thing that will get you by !!! Just because you are pregnant does not mean that you have to change your style! I decided not to. So, LOVE it or hate it, this is ME!

Kristi is absolutely FANTASTIC! Beautiful, inside and out, and about to have one more little rascal running around. She already has 2-year old twins, and adding on to the family! This shoot was very special… Sexy, and yet so peaceful. Kristi, I wish you the best, as you are about to enter such a fabulous, exciting period in your life. Congratulations to you & Brian.
