I LOVE capturing little moments that are so simple but yet so special to me. When I’m behind my camera, I forget about everything and my true self really comes thru. Sometimes living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower. For me my sunshine is my family, my freedom is the love we share, and my little flower is my camera

You know when kids are just not having it?! Well this was one of those days… They just were not in the mood to do this shoot. We tried bribing them with candy, toys, and promises… but not much worked. Even though they were not into this, I really got some great shots. More to come soon… but consider this part 1 of a bluebonnet shoot… we’ll have to schedule another Enjoy!
{It’s all about Black & White}

Black & White photography can be considered many different ways; something old fashionned, something vintage, or even something only certain types of photographers do. I personally find it very artsy. I am always drawn towards a black and white photo. A black & white image speaks to me more often than not. While experimenting with new locations over the weekend, I decided to do this set of images entirely in black & white. Something about the wind, the cloudy sky, and then peacefullness of this shoot was calling for B&W. Here is Kameryn (my daughter), who was modeling for me once again
